Fashion Reborn Story
There’s no point of making more *things* if we aren’t going to be around to enjoy them, and vice versa.
----Olivia Cheng
In a world that spins endlessly towards the new, fashion finds its rebirth in the most unexpected places.
Here, we do not discard the old; we reinvent it. Objects not just made, but born again. With creativity as our compass and sustainability our creed, we explore what fashion can be—a fusion of artistry, functionality, and an enduring testament to beauty that breaks the mold.
Join us in celebrating the rebirth of fashion, where the line between the wardrobe and the world blurs, and where every creation is a love letter to both innovation and tradition, where every stitch echoes a past life and every accessory holds a soul.
Welcome to "Fashion Reborn".

In our world, we have always been the kind of company that makes people happy. We usually show up at movie nights, parties, or theme parks.
Our life is always short, so we have been taught to live in the moment, and savor every experience.
To be honest, I longed for something more, something greater than just being a tasty snack living in the cinema.
I always like to dream about another life. I could transform into a daring explorer, travel to far-off lands, and experience the wonders of the world.
Of course, this may only exist in my imagination. Or maybe someday I really could live a completely different life. Who knows?

Perched on a glass shelf by the window, I enjoyed a prime view of the bustling street while the store's soundtrack played.
Occasionally, I locked eyes with a passerby and shared a smile, thinking this was the moment.
My baked-in mission is to fill someone’s belly. While White Toast next to me sweated with anxiety about being overlooked, I listened to Utada Hikari singing 'First Love.'
Yet, as the soundtrack looped for the fifth time, anxiety took root.
The shelf around me grew bare, and with the fall of night, the trees outside blurred, and any connecting glances faded into the darkness.
But the truth was, that I wasn’t chosen.

I remember I used to live in a quaint antique shop nestled at the heart of a bustling city, I had the pleasure of meeting numerous people every day.
I vividly recalled a girl who graced our store one sunny afternoon. I knew they came for something special.
After a thoughtful exploration, the girl stopped in front of me. This is it. The moment I’ve been longing for. My time to shine.
To be honest, I never thought the world was so big until I had the chance to travel around with my owner. Life took an unexpected turn when I turned from an ordinary cabinet pull to high-end decorations on leather jackets. I guess I'm a little luckier than others.

THE HAPPIEST BRAND ON EARTH.
Dauphinette was founded in 2018 by Olivia Cheng, debuting with one-of-a-kind, Made-in-New-York outwear from recycled and byproduct fur and leather, vintage, and artisanal components. Cheng has since grown the brand to include handbags and accessories, plus a tightly conceptualized selection of ready-to-wear. The result is a dreamy collection of complex, optimistic, storied pieces -- a feeling Cheng hopes to inspire in our wearers. Today, the brand is best known for its use of preserved botanicals and repurposed textiles, and can be discovered blooming everywhere from its West Village flagship to the Met Museum's Costume Institute exhibition, In America: A Lexicon of Fashion.
In French, Dauphin refers to the king's eldest son, i.e. heir to the throne. Coupled with the traditionally feminine suffix -ette, this symbol of the old feudalistic order takes on new agency.
